Sunswift eVe, the official FIA record holder for the fastest 500km completed by an electric vehicle with an average speed of 107km/h and the line honours winner for the 2013 World Solar Challenge Cruiser Class. Dynamic Aero Solutions assisted the UNSW students to develop the aerodynamics of this vehicle by providing guidance on the CFD model, teaching them how to interpret the results that they obtained and providing CAD models of the entire external shape of the vehicle for all the iterations tested. This vehicle had to be more than just efficient, but the design brief also dictated that when completed it should have the same appeal as a sexy sports car!
